Dynamic CAD and interior designer with nearly a decade of expertise in commercial tile, stone, and space planning.  Recently returned to design with a renewed creative focus, integrating strong construction knowledge with continued growth in design knowledge and skills. 

My professional experience includes residential kitchen and bath design, commercial architectural drawing and technical assembly drawing for tile and stone.  My career began as a freelancer during college where I developed strong space planning skills specializing in function to balance aesthetics with practicality. Since graduating from Academy of Art University, I've continued to grow my skills through freelance work.  In my latest full time role as Lead CAD Designer, I developed a comprehensive understanding of construction assembly and fabrication as it relates to tile and stone according to Natural Stone Institute and Tile Council of North America while adhering to CA Building Code standards.  I worked on commercial projects for almost a decade gaining experience with constructability, accessibility standards and material performance.

My recent position as Jr. Interior Designer, I worked closely with the principal designer, producing CAD drawings & mood boards, expanding my knowledge of FF&E and assisting on client visits.   I am currently concentrating on professional development by sharpening my Architecture & Design software toolkit after creating this website.  

 

While honing my skills, I'm actively taking my time but seeking my next full-time opportunity in interior architecture & design and excited about what is next!
